Prior to starting his own practice, Edwin Astudillo practiced corporate law at large international law firms, most recently, Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton, LLP. His practice focused on SEC reporting and disclosure matters, capital raising and M&A transactions, compliance with stock exchange rules and corporate governance matters. He has represented clients in transactions ranging from the sale of a family-held business to the sale of a NYSE-listed company in a deal that was recognized by China Business Law Journal as 2012's Going Private Deal of the Year, and from start-up financings to IPOs. He has advised privately-held and public companies in a range of industries and has counseled senior management on a variety of legal issues that arise in the operation of their business on a daily basis.
